This Stranger Things Trailer Gives Me Goosebumps

I’m so not ready to say goodbye to “Stranger Things”… haven’t I said goodbye to enough things I care about this year? First The Liberty Belle riverboat and Tom Sawyer Island at Walt Disney World, then Six Flags America, now Hawkins too?? It’s too much!

Netflix dropped the first trailer today for what’s being billed as the “biggest” season ever of Stranger Things. This is Chapter 5.

I feel like we’ve been through so much with these kids… the care-free easy breezy time before the pandemic, the actual pandemic itself, and all the chaos that’s come since. We’ve watched them grow up and now we say goodbye. Oh, and this isn’t going to be a fast goodbye. Netflix is ripping that band-aid off reallll slow. Here’s the release schedule for this final season:

Volume 1 arrives on Wednesday, November 26. That’s episodes 1-4.

Volume 2 unwraps on Thursday, December 25 with episodes 5.7.

The series finale will be available on Wednesday, December 31 on Netflix and select AMC Theaters nationwide.

Do I want to spend New Year’s Eve in a dark movie theater with a bunch of strangers? I THINK I DO! What a time to experience something in a shared environment. Something we’ve almost all lived through.

The creators of the show promise to answer some important questions such as why Will Byers was taken in the first place and what the Upside Down really is. I like answers, so they better deliver. I need to feel complete.
