What’s New on Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin

The newly refreshed ride is laser-focused on fun with a new “free range” blaster (two per car), brand new interactive targets, and brightened scenes. There’s even a brand new scene featuring your new bestie Buddy! Buddy is a friendly robot who helps get Space Rangers set for their exploration with warm-up target practice before you launch into the main game.

New Blasters, Targets, and Gameplay Features

Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin still holds onto that classic charm you’ve come to love but outfitted with brand new vehicles and new effects tied to the new hand-held blasters like vibrations and sounds. Oh, and there are now two colors per car… one red and one green, to help you aim!

There are also new interactive targets to keep an eye out for, including some that light up in special ways – hit those, because they’re worth way more points! The enhanced visuals throughout the experience really take you into the world of Buzz Lightyear. It’s a black-light technicolor dream!

Hot tip: even if the line says it’s 60 minutes… it’s *probably* going to be shorter than that. This ride is a people-eater and can keep up with the biggest crowds. It’s also available on Lightning Lane if you just can’t wait to start blasting targets!

Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin also has upgraded cameras for the Disney PhotoPass picture that’s taken during your most important battle: against our favorite big-baddie Zurg! Make sure you smile, or you might end up with “resting Buzz face” like I did.

Check it out during your next trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth, where you can always come as you are and be whoever you want to be.
