Join us for DC’s second annual Military & Veteran Pride, an official event of Capital Pride! This event is open to LGBTQ+ service members, veterans, family members, and allies. Address will be provided upon RSVP.
Last year for World Pride, we held three events over three days. This year, we’re holding one big event with multiple partner organizations. Doors open at 5pm for an hour of mingling, appetizers, and browsing resource tables. Starting at 6pm, in a nod to Juneteenth, we’ll have a panel with LGBTQ+ military and veteran leaders on the intersectional fight for civil rights. From around 6:45 til 8 enjoy more mingling, snacking, and resource tabling. The event is hosted by SPARTA Pride and the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA with partners AVER, Out in National Security, Minority Veterans of America, the DC Mayor’s Office, and Capital Pride.
Tickets are free but RSVP is required to ensure we have enough food and drinks and don’t exceed capacity.
