Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets Opens May 2026 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios with Divas and Icons

Community representation is at an all-time high for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets, opening May 26, 2026 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

Not only will the ride spotlight the iconic Muppets and The Electric Mayhem band, the soundtrack rocks out with a setlist including icons Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson, and Questlove.

You will also have to keep a keen out eye for fabulous celebrity cameos throughout the experience from Neil Patrick Harris, Wayne Brady, Darren Criss, Awkwafina and more!

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster has been undergoing a transformation under new ownership by Scooter’s uncle, real estate tycoon and owner of the Muppet Theatre, J.P. Grosse. He purchased G-Force records, and with it, the iconic studios and coaster… and he’s put The Electric Mayhem right to work!

Of course, in true Muppet fashion, they couldn’t do it without some famous friends.

When the ride reopens this May, it’ll be sporting a psychedelic rainbow of visuals and additional celebs like Danny Trejo, John Stamos, Travis Barker, Yvette Nicole Brown, and my personal fav: “Weird Al” Yankovic!

Here’s the full setlist you can expect to hear when you get to experience the ride:

• Love Rollercoaster – The Electric Mayhem ft. Jennifer Hudson & Questlove
• Rock! Rock! (Till You Drop) – The Electric Mayhem ft. Def Leppard
• Walking on Sunshine – The Electric Mayhem ft. Kelly Clarkson

Previews of the attraction are expected for cast members, Disney Vacation Club members, and Annual Passholders… likely ahead of any “soft opens” that may happen if you’re planning to visit around that magical date of May 26. Of course, it’ll be open just in time for Bear Jamboree and Gay Disney Weekend!
