Exciting Dates For Your Disney World Vacation Plans

Exciting Dates For Your Disney World Vacation Plans

Walt Disney World has announced dates for two of their most-anticipated Fall events because it’s never too early to start planning a trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth!

As you know, Pride365 is kicking off summer with a visit to Walt Disney World Resort® June 4-7 with a live broadcast pool side with Bear Jamboree. But the fun doesn’t need to end there! Plan a trip back this Fall to experience two of the best events that the resort has to offer: EPCOT’s International Food & Wine Festival and Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!

EPCOT’s International Food & Wine Festival

Foodies unite! The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival will take place August 27-November 21, 2026. It’s one of the most popular festivals of the year because you’ll have the chance to enjoy bites and beverages from around the world. Disney’s expert culinary team always dream up the most wonderful dishes for the event – so there’s guaranteed to be some new items available this year.

However, some long-time favorites return each year and I can tell you from experience that these are some of the best they have to offer:

  • Street Corn-style Dumplings: Chicken Dumplings with Tomatillo Salsa Verde, Street Corn Salad, Cotija, Lime Crema, and Cilantro (Gyozas of the Galaxy)
  • Grilled Bushberry-spiced Shrimp Skewer with Sweet-and-Sour Vegetables and Coconut-Chilie Sauce (Australia)
  • Kirschwasser Torte with Cherry-Brandy Buttercream, Fondant, Sugared Almonds, and Cherry Compote (The Alps)

Also returning this year is Emile’s Fromage Montage, an exciting cheese crawl through World Showcase where you can collect stamps for various cheese-themed dishes to get a festival treat at the end of your adventure!

There’s also a Ratatouille-themed “Hide & Squeak” scavanger hunt for all ages where keeping a keen eye out for Remy can score you a special keepsake.

And since we’re a radio station… you know we’re all about that beat! The “Eat To The Beat” concert series lights up the America Gardens Theater every night of the Festival with performances by national recording artists and bands – the lineup will be revealed later this year, but you’ll be amazed by who will play EPCOT!! Fingers are crossed for an encore performance by Tiffany and Jordin Sparks!

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Orlando is the epicenter of the Halloween events each season with Universal leading the charge in the scary department, but Disney picking up the Not-So-Scary side of things with Mickey and friends! In fact, this all-ages event is one of the most fun seasonal offerings at the Magic Kingdom… and it’s starting early this year! The first party of the year is August 7, 2026.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is an after-hours event where the park is open to a limited number of tickets each event night. The party begins with an opportunity to spot a classic Disney villain… in our last trip, we were roasted by none other than Cruella DeVille as we walked in. It’s an awesome experience. You want sassy villains? This is your event.

Special character meet-and-greets are available throuhgout the event evenings ranging from Maleficent to Gaston and even some surprises like the Headless Horseman who makes an appearance at the start of the Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade that winds its way through the Magic Kingdom with the catchiest of spooky tunes. Oh, and the Not-So-Scary Fireworks Spectacular is one of the most epic fireworks shows of all time… it’s a can’t-miss!

Oh, and it wouldn’t be Halloween without some candy! As you enter, you’re handed a trick-or-treat bag and you can visit several different locations throughout the park to collect the goods! If you don’t leave with an absolutely overflowing back of candy, you need to get back in there and get some more.

The Magic Kingdom is full of spooky pumpkins, creepy fog, and music that will give you chills… but not too much! This is Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Event, after all! So get your favorite Halloween attire on and have a great time collecting all the candy you can! Oh, and don’t miss the special stage shows at the event either – they’re unlike any other offering through the year!
